Thank You!

I would like to give a big shout-out to everyone who participated in my blog survey! As either my frequent, or not so frequent readers, you have provided incredible insight into how my blog is viewed and portrayed. Your opinions on previous blog topics have also been extremely helpful in deciding what future posts will be written.

Because most of you have enjoyed the variety of topics on "A Quiet Strength", I doubt you will see much of a change in the posts I write. This blog will continue to be a compilation of life's experiences, spiritual insights, and anything else I deem worthy of sharing with you. This blog represents who I am as a person and I am thankful that I do not have to limit myself to sharing only one or two aspects of my incredibly exciting life. :)

That being said, I have a few ideas that have been swirling around in my analytical head. Ideas such as, starting another blog - especially one that would focus solely on one of my passions. A part of me is afraid to try this, mostly in fear of failing again - like I did with my cakes. I took a chance, and later on found out that an enjoyable hobby was not so enjoyable when it became my work. But as someone recently told me, a bad experience does not necessarily mean it was a failure. How else would I learn what I like and do not like? Hopefully, by the time I am 50 (gulp!), I can look back at all the things I have tried and see it more as a growing experience rather than a waste of time.

I look forward to sharing more details of this new blog with you in the future! And even if this idea does not work, it will simply be added to the "Things I know are not meant for me" list. :)

Stay tuned and thanks again for your participation!

Hey Kalyn,
I just really want to encourage you in the whole blogging thing. Definitely pray about it :-) My blog tanked over the summer because I was having issues with this pregnancy and basically could barely keep the kids fed and in clean clothes because I felt so lousy. I totally felt like giving up and almost did, but God doesn't call us to be "successful"...God calls us to be obedient.
As long as you are doing that, you aren't considered a failure at all.

Also, anytime you want to get together and chat or even just by phone or skype, we can talk blogging and share ideas and tips.
Love your blog and keep it coming!
