Garden Beginnings

My garden is finally starting to grow! I do not have everything planted outside (there still may be a frost), but my indoor plants are holding their own until they can be transplanted into my raised bed.

My Zucchini and Pumpkin plants. The Pumpkin has yet to surface.

Tomato Plants (Beef Steak and Big Boy, I believe.) Still need to buy a Roma.

Basil - my only surviving herb.
The rest of my herbs did not do well and I have no idea why. Drainage issues, perhaps? I may try to grow some outside and see how they do out there.

The two veggies that I was able to plant in my raised bed were Romaine Lettuce and Russet Potatoes. The potatoes have really sprouted.........

.......and my lettuce seedlings have emerged!

Twix was allowed to join me in my garden inspecting adventures as long as she behaved.

Then she gave me the "I-know-you-said-NO-but-I'm-doing-it-anyway" look as she sauntered into my garden. :)
