I love books! And there is nothing I love better than well-done historical fiction!I have recently discovered an amazing author who may very well make it onto my favorites list. Her name is Tamera Alexander and I cannot get enough of her heartwarming and poignant stories told through those who lived in the Western territories.

I have only read the first two books from the Fountain Creek Chronicles, but from what I have encountered, this author is an absolutely amazing story teller. She is a newer author to Bethany House Publishers and only has a few books on the market, but I sincerely hope she is on her way to producing more!
Let your next read be a Tamera Alexander book! You will not be disappointed!

I have Rekindled and read it a year or so ago. Haven't read the others in the series yet. Everytime I go to a bookstore I see her books and think I need to find the next two to read. Maybe I should check the church library.
I too LOVE historical fiction. I like a lot of genres but historical fiction is probably my favorite. Have you read Liz Curtis Higgs "Lowlands of Scotland" series? It is SOOOO good! One of my all-time favorite reads. The first book is Thorn in my Heart. If you haven't you definitely should! They do have those at the church library.
