I cannot say this surprises me, but it makes me incredibly sad.
First they take away religious freedoms in public schools (well, Christianity anyway), and now they want to police us in our own homes. Pray that this does not happen and that the couple is successful in their dispute. If this order goes through, there would be massive implications for not just California, but for the rest of the country.
